Best way to get node spacing

Im trying to do a 4x4 though .. that may be a problem
You can just let it grow tall in the center, then apply the training later on by opening it up and letting that light the whole plant top to bottom. I’m guessing a 3ft plant can be opened up, and flipped to fill a 4x4 area. Definitely recommend a trellis for support, as your branches will be doing the limbo the entire flower stage lol

Loving the thread.definitely aiming to do this in my outdoor grow. I understand to get the branches even light you have to do some chiropractic work on them might thing is once you crack the exterior branch to manipulate where you want it to go. How do I get it to Holds it’s form I got some ideas but looking for more?

Train for an even canopy. Topping & tying down.
node Spacing that much will only take away from the lower half of the plant imo.Sure you will get bug colas up top if fed and treated right.. but what about 2ft down? You will need to chop the plant in sections to fatten up the lower buds by lowering the light after you chop the tall ends.

I like to keep it as simple as possible.
After creating x amount branches flip it/them and put a net over them.

It can happen, but if you try it. Make sure you have support down there to hold up the lower branches, til the top half is done. This would only apply really if you have branches in the shade that are much less developed. It’s also possible you will see a nanner or 3 while chopping, but picking them out is worth the extra smoke.

Steaks in the ground to support the branches, or even a tomato cage.

It’ll try and grow back the way it was originally, i like to crack it and kind of wiggle it around up the nodes to make the branch limp jaja.. then i try and tie down not on near the top but a node or 2 down so the top cansprout back up to a 90, they’ll look pretty beat up but give them 2 to 3 hours and they’ll be back to normal
