There is debate on the q. here is my method.
1. Cut the buds, using sharp scissors
2. manicure them nicely
3. hang them upside down in a dry cool dark, well ventilated place
4. after a few days, or when the outside is dry , put them into mason jars open the jars every 4 or 5 hours for the first few days. At this point if the buds get moistened again keep the jar open over night, should do the trick.
5. After first week of curing open jars once daily.
6. After 2nd week once every 4 days. then once every week then... oh you get the point. Cure like so for 5 weeks + /the more you wait the better it tastes smells feels looks and tastes and smells ansmokes and shows and tells.

Have fun. Happy Harvest.

wow.. even I'm surprised, I thought that bud could be cured in like a week, not 5

lucky if the pile of leaf left over is dry in a week. i have a pile that's been drying for over 10 days now and it's still to wet to do with what i plan. this is just the leaf.

I hung mine for 5 days in my flower room with hefty ventilation. Now i've got it in a vacuum sealed container to cure for a few weeks. That is, if I can keep my fingers out of the proverbial cookie jar.
