Best way to change current 12/12 cycle????

Yo,

hopin to get a lil feedback from ya at RIU,

my situation is that my current run 12/12 cycle runs 9pm-9am, HOWEVER unfortunately gonna have some service men over next week and i wouldn't want them to hear any excessive fan noises, etc in the morning when the start their jobs(8amish) while working in close proximity of the grow room.

so what ull think here? just cut out an hour or two of darkness over a couple days or what? then running a 7pm-7am deal?? would this be stressful for the ladies cutting its lights down to a 23 hr day basically, right??

plz give opionions??

All rules are nullified if your ass is on the line. The plants wont die. Just turn off before they come.

I would just change it. I doubt you will see ANY adverse affect. I wouldn't waste my time with an hour a day to get there. The night before they come, After the lights, come on, change it.

somebody told me on here that plants do not count the day hours, only the night hrs. if you are really worried about stressin them out then just make sure if the lights go off they stay off for 12 hrs at least.

by the way you described your cycle i think you mean on at 9pm off at 9 am? if thats the case just turn them off an hour or too early and then plug it back in/ turn it back on at 9pm that night and resume the normal cycle. no stress at all
