What kind of lighting?
Whats the temp?
Make sure you always keep the door cracked, and if the temps are 70-80, you should be good. Just remember - Higher temps = need more fresh air.

I would respectfully disagree. You want to keep that door shut tight! Why? During the dark cycle you will need to have 100% darkness, a cracked door means light in the box so why not solve that problem now? :weed:

The fan within your room is blowing around stale air.

You need either a dedicated fan at the door to force fresh air in

or an exhaust fan thats ducted into the next room. The exhaust fan will serve dual purposes. If it's strong enough it will suck out all the hot air and force fresh air to be pulled in behind it. This is your best choice if you're able to run duct work into the next room....

I had a closet grow that I went a purchased a cheap interior door and two flat vent faces, one bigger than the other. I cut holes in the door to match the vent facings. I put charcoal filters in the holes and built a shelf on the larger hole and put a fan on it to pull air out of the closet through the vent. This also allowed air to come in and circulate.

Here is what it looked like. You can get a door for under or around $20.

i have 2 fans one above the plants a. bouncing off the door to breeze the plants and b. blowing air out of the closet. at night i use another fan to cool the closet 10 or 15 degrees before i close the door tight for its 6 hour dark cycle.

It's really not that involved, all you do is move some door hardware from one door to the other and cut some holes. It takes car of ventilation and smell. Also no one thought anything and if they ask you can say there are utilities in that closet.

where can i get a 20 dollar door?
I got mine at Lowes, actually got everything at lowes. You could even go to home depot or any other home improvement store. If I remember correctly mine cost $18. Measure your current door and if it is a standard size they will have one there that matches. You may have to chisel away part of the door for the hinges to attach also. It is really easy to do though, I did it in an 1.5 hours maybe 2. But you can find the vent faces and everything. I used 1x2's to make the shelf.

I just checked Lowes' web site and for my area they go for $18.60 and I checked another state and they went for $24(NY), so they are very inexpensive.
