Best video game while tripping or rolling

Made a post in a different thread and decided to post one about this. Move this if necessary but I felt it fit here because it's a game perfect for tripping and rolling.

Aight, well normally playing a video game is one of the last things I do when I'm tripping or rolling but sometimes it ends up that way. Either the night wont end or everyone leaves, I have fun for a little bit but am still too messed up to sleep. Anyway, I played this one game a while back when I was rolling and it was the best psychedelic game I've ever played. Played it while on LSD and had same effect.

The game is called Rez. I know they have it for Dreamcast and PS2 but it might be for other systems as well, don't know. Anyway, it is a game where you are an everchanging creature/ball/etc. and you shoot these creatures and stuff. Kinda in space. But everything is made with tons of colors and lines that makes it trippy. The background is also trippy. As you play through the levels there is a background song that gets more intense as the levels go on. Also the way in which you kill enemies makes sounds that go perfectly with the background song. If you kill fast or slow it can completely change the song and allows the player to become fully into the game mentally. They die in explosive psychedelic beauty. I suggest EVERYONE to try this game or at least PLEASE watch it on youtube or something. It doesn't do it justice but at least you'll know what it's like. If you get to the last level and don't complete it....you might feel very emotional because of the story.

I find the games like Oblivion, and Fallout or Crackdown to be wonderful works on drugs. you get right wrapped up in the world.

But movies are fucking great too!

Wrote this sober just read this now that I'm baked and realize that I sound like I'm high when I'm sober and sober when I'm high. Wow. That was such a bad childish sounding explanation. Anyway, the game is fire and the graphics are unreal. Just found out they made it for xbox 360 in HD and now I must have that version.

You can either click attack or you can hold it and kill the enemies in different orders. Makes completely different sounds on how you do it. It's also crazy because if you play badly the game is much easier and there are less enemies, so you can still beat it. But if you are amazing and instantly killing everything the game gets much harder and intense. Also the attacks look better as you level up. There is one more level above where this guy is at. Except for on the final level

I almost feel that it would be perfect to be displayed on a giant projection at the end of each night at a festival. When all the bands are done or just during the last few till close. People would be lost in it.

Do not play Midnight Club 3 dub edition haha at least for me there were so many weird noises and graphics +250 mph super cars that I could NOT keep up with everything. Plus you have to look up and down rapidly at the map and the screen when racing that just sucked trippin balls

i mostly meant tripping...but i suck ass when im stoned, i just dont feel like shooting people. i like fucking around tho like spend 2 hrs trying to stick semtex onto someones face. but im much more interested in it when im sober.

Eh, I'd probably get bored of that quick. And shooting games like mw2 are fun tripping but nothing I have ever seen has come close to Rez. It is a trip if you play it sober or high. Literally mindblowing.


Anyone watch that Rez video? Or heard of the game. I'm surprised people aren't talking about it, it's like the best underground game in many ways.

I've played lots of games trippin, one that stands out is Amped 2. Amped 3 is supposed to be crazy too, but all my trip experience is with the second version. Also Time Splitters 2 on the PS2, wacky characters and stuff.

What about geometry wars retro evolved the second one on xbox 360 arcade lots of colors I think that would be great for both trip and roll and combine them and play the. Game instant. Brain visual orgasm....

katamari forever on ps3. i played one of the old ones back when i was a kid. But now i find it compeletely japanese weird...

but at the same time one of the most addicting easy games with pretty mind blowing visuals ALL THE TIME.

If you've never heard about it you basically just get a gravity ball and roll up a completely destructable world. Try it, rent it, and if you like it go buy it.

I say Fable 2 is a fun one to play while in that mode. Something about being able to do whatever I want and create my own world makes me happy.

i used to roll quite a bit back in high school and i tried playin Halo once but i couldnt get into it, didnt wana just sit there and play. never tried playin video games while rolling after that.

i did play ALOT of guitar hero on coke though...adderall too. they make that game sooo easy.
