I was in Tahoe on vacation, no connections, totally dry had been for a few weeks (wasn't even really looking). Hooked up with a local fly fishing guide, guy did an awesome job, best guided experience I have ever had.
Well after we are sitting in his truck on the Truckee drinking a beer when some how I drop something about weed. I don't know. He asked and I said hell yea! Either way before I knew it we were in the truck and he was loading up a fat bowl. The weed looked amazing! Then he broke out a tin with a small cake in it. Broke some off and asked if I was a daily, I said I have been just have not smoked in a while. He laughed. Well again, Midwest so I NEVER see blocks of keif. At first I was like, WTF are we smoking crack? He explained and I got even more excited.
After that we smoked down on some pure outdoor organic cali weed topped with a big pile of keif. After that I slowly took my time driving back up to Alpine Meadows easily the highest I have been in my entire life, that will always go down as my perfect weed day. Long awesome day fly fishing in the Truckee river only to be surprised with the high of a lifetime
