Best time of day for harvesting

Im growing outdoor this season and was wondering if time of day to cut down matters. Is it best to cut during peak sunshine hours or shady time, early morning, dark ? Do details like these make a difference? Maybe I’m overthinking? Thanks

Late October (in Virginia) is when im thinking they’ll be ready so heat wont be that much of an issue, is morning still advised when the temperatures are mildish. Here october can be anywhere from 85-45 f. Lol.

The only thing I worry about is not chopping when they are too dried out from their last watering.
I like to hang them with a little leftover moisture in the stalks to help drag it out.

Mid day early afternoon for me. Mornings can be very dewy and letting the wind an sun dry out the plant first is nice prior to chopping and hanging. Also I usually will lightly hose down the still standing plant an when I do that I like to let it dry.
