I got two 1000 watt hps and my area is approx 6' x 8'
I am sick of soil!!!
I want to build my own system. I want it to be easy to use and very low maintenance. I want as many plants as possible and I will be using a organik compost c02 bucket. Any suggestions? :joint:

what's the best way to build a flood and drain table? You think I should have multiple ones instead of one huge one? thanks for the response:joint:

Well it kinda depends... do you want one big mofo of a harvest every 2 months or a decent harvest every 2 weeks( based on Al B Fuct). If you like the every 2 week idea I suggest you check out the Guru's(Al B. Fuct) sticky at the top of this subforum titled 'Get a harvest every 2 weeks'. He spells out step by step his set up, prepare to be amazed.

I'm on a three week perpetual harvest using the same size room. I run an aeroponic cloner and veg system in my bathroom. In my flower room I run 3 seperate aero/DWC systems(14 plants each). Everything is using EZ-Clone sprayers on a cycle timer.

Why a 3 week perpetual harvest instead of a 2? A 3 week harvest gives you a total of 9 weeks flower time vs. 8 weeks. Unless you're running some fast Indicas, 8 weeks flowering time is just not enough. As soon as you want something with a little more Sativa in it you are going to need more flower time. Anything with Haze in it needs more time than 9 weeks!

9 weeks flower also gives you more time for a complete flush and finish. If your plants are ready before 9 weeks just cut the tops and let the lower buds get some light for another week. Then harvest the rest at a later time.

My cloner is using 160w fl 24/0
My veg is on a 250W MH 18/6
My flower room has a 1000W MH and a 1000W HPS

The cycle is 3 weeks in the cloner, 3 weeks in veg and 9 weeks in flower.

I harvest 14 plants at a time and average 1-2oz. per plant

I'm able to push 2900 PPM using 100% organic nutrients with no burning what so ever.

The growth rate with Aero/DWC is beyond your wildest dreams!

How did you build that aero dwc system? How does it work? How often do the sprayers get clogged? What was your ph at with 2900 ppm? What kind of nutes were those? Your setup is awesome! What strain is that?

How did you build that aero dwc system?
I used 3/4" PVC pipe for the frame.

2-4" PVC fence posts with 14-2" net pots. Neoprene sleeves to hold the plants. No medium what so ever, just air.

12 EZ-Clone sprayers set into 1/2" PVC pipe running inside the fence posts.

18 Gal. Rubbermaid container for the reservoir.

396 GPH pump with a pump bag filter.

Garden hose adapter and ball valve to make draining the res easy.

How does it work? How often do the sprayers get clogged?
Pump is on a cycle timer set to run 1 minute on and 5 minutes off. Sprayers don't clog if you use a pump filter bag ($10). I clean them after every harvest anyway.

What was your ph at with 2900 ppm? What kind of nutes were those?
I run my PH at 5.8.
I run the same nutrient formula for everything. I start at 1500 PPM and bring it up to 2900 PPM by the second week of veg. I change the nutrients every 3 weeks with each new crop. All organic nutrients.

Botanicare Nutrients:

126ML Cal-Mag Plus (adds calcium and magnesium)
180ML Liquid Karma (natural growth stimulants)
540ML Pure Bend Pro Bloom (primary nutrients)

What strain is that?
Blueberry, AK47, Snowbud (Akorn), Tutti Fruiti

You don't use the whole botanicare pro line? Just those three? What do you do to lower your ph organically? You have one side NFT and the other aero? How do you keep the temps down? I am having problems with heat in my room.

You don't need to make using nutrients complex to be successful.
K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid)

All my systems are the same conceptually. EZ-Clone sprayers are used on everything. All my systems are running off of the same cycle timer.

The best way to keep temps down besides A/C is sealed/vented lights. Use a reflector with a glass seal. Vent the light's hot exhaust out of the grow room with at least a 200 cfm fan. The bigger the fan the better. Keep your ballasts out of the grow room as well.

For PH adjustment I use General Hydroponics solutions. If you stick with my formula you won't be adjusting the PH much.

I wonder if you would get even better results if you did the whole line, but then again don't fix what ain't broken right? I got sealed reflectors and my ac runs straight through them and my room is still in the 80s!! I think i will hook up a bigger fan to the lights and use the ac for my rooms intake.
I was reading you can make a aero setup with out the ez clone sprayers and by just drilling 1/16" holes into pvc. How well do you think that would work?:joint: Thanks for all your help.

I think those easy clone sprayers run about 50cents each i dont think i would pass on the last step. Are you saying you run your a.c right into your lights and dont have any pumping around the room?
