not necessarily those available on scheme.
What are the best varieties for epilepsy (tonic clonic&absence generalised epilepsy) ? bonus points if they finish early in the season.

You'll have to do your own research, but you want a high CBD %. Cannabis is normally reserved for use in treating forms of epilepsy that are NOT well contolled with available epilepsy medicines. It's not panacea, and as a side effect it can also trigger epileptic episodes in some individuals, however, it does work for many people.

Check out some of the doctors doing active research on cannabis and epilepsy and read through some of their studies/abstracts. They might be seeing better results with something that has a specific ratio of cannabinoids or specific cannabinoids other than thc/cbd.

I have seizures and best combo was rso extraction oil with cbd/cbg/thc combo . not only did it reduce my seizures from 75% but my also my rx needs . I tried only cbd and cbg or thc and smoking since temp and how it all works bcg and cbd are low temps and smoking it def won’t work for These needs, I have 3 patients that are also seizure and misc and they all had same results , need for rso/oil extract or mixture cbg/cbd and thc and gradually raising it like a rx till it shows good results . Key is don’t take someone or urself on a huge dosage and expect it to be 100% cured. with anything high dosages will give people def bad results and def many things a person that needs that tolefance and body to get used to it. reason I suggest if patients can handle the higher rso/oil extract its beneficial is reducing the Rx needs and also better quality of life and also for many a life saver, all u can do is try but like I said I had a few patients and myself smoke it at first and it def didn’t reduce seizures even with same strains ( 120f-180f for hot point of cbd/cbg)
