Best strain to grow for begineers?

I am in my 6th week of flowering on my first grow and have learned a lot. I look at the RIU a lot and have a ton of books and magazines I have read on growing and feel knowledgable about growing. I used CFL's (about 250 watt) for this current grow but am purchasing a 4x4 tent, 600 watt lights and 430cfm fan and filter for my next grow. My question is what would be a good strain to grow? I dont want to use autoflower strains because I want to keep a mother and clone. Any suggestions?

I agree that northern lights is a great strain but I have access to it already and would like to try something different. I may try two different strains not sure yet

I only have experience with 3 real strains, and of those I'd recommend Crystal. It's tough as hell, can handle quite a bit of abuse, the yield is nice, they grow really nice even if you don't top or train them, they look freakin awesome(white with trichs), and are quite potent(around 20%). It's parents are Northern Lights and White Widow, so you know it has good genetics. I want to try a bunch of other strains, but I can honestly say that Crystal is excellent. :cool:

i sog them and suppercrop but not the way these guys do it by fukking up the stem all it takes is a pinch of new green growth on top just enough to stun it and they side grow up to the top even as it heals heres a link to my sog

im going to sog whiteberry next and then ill pick something else after that i have 15 strains going but im focused on getting my outdoor stuff up and ready to run. but yeah the choco is nice it was killing all my lady bugs they were getting glued to it

Whatever I get its gonna be from speedyseedz. I have seen this guy all over the forum and he responds quickly to everyone. Customer service is important to me so if he doesnt have it I probably am not getting it.

Just an update. I decided to get Barney Farms Crimea Blue and TH Seeds Burmese Kush. I am still waiting to purchase my tent but in a couple weeks when I get the seeds I should be set up and ready to go.
