Best stores to buy CFLs?

Lowes. Just buy the name brand ones like Sylvania, GE, or Philips. I try to stay away from off brands. The off brands might be just as good, but why chance it to save a dollar?

haha i like the way chirpin thinks! I'll try to get the most lumens for my money my nearest lowes is a good 30 minutes away so i haven't made it out yet.

forgot to mention, the 2700k bulbs I bought came from 1000bulbs.com, I got the case price by buying a dozen but that's cool, I intended to use all twelve and then some.
