Thats strong shit. I have had some pretty strong resistant mites in my time. I havent had that bug in a long ass time thank god. I always treat new cuts i receive as if they had all the bugs and diseases out there even though they usually dont. I run a small tester/quarantine tent and all new stuff gets ran in there at least once before going in the main room lineup or the trash bin. One of my practices is to dip small to medium sized cuts into Mighty Wash soon as i get them. Havent had a mite outbreak in years.
