Graywolf actually, but a common mistake. Gray Wolf is the North American Canis Lupus species my Native American ancestors used as their clan totem, which is commonly mostly grey to black in color.

Grey in my ancestors language means faded-blue, and as a Euro-Native American mongrel, "dawg" seems to fit better than wolf, so when Graywolf wasn't available on this forum, I chose Fadedawg.
