Hello RIU! Well the marijuana gods have answered my prayers! In a few weeks I was planing to make the trek 5 hours to go get some Clones for my grow, Where I live grow season starts around september/october and goes till may/june. My buddy here surprised me with some Blue Dream clones out of the blue no pun intended.... and I want them! I am going to get 3 ten bucks a pop great deal for out here btw.

My question is what kind of soil should I put them in to get the ready to go outside to the real world. I was thinking something simple from home depot but still a little unsure, any ideas from you guys would help ie. what soils have worked best for you guys and your clones. Please let me know as I need to take the clones today or tomorrow at the latest! thanks guys and smoke on!

You could buy the mg organic garden soil and some per lite, mix that shit in with some native soil and call it a day. Its like $6 for 1.5 cu ft.

Hurry up and get them in you might get a quarter to 3/4 of an ounce per, but I'll be shocked if you pull of more this late in the game. Either way it's probably still worth the money for clones, soil and feed. Not to mention your time, yeah go for it!

Yes, I live in the desert, its fucking nasty out here in the summer time, however during winter months it is beautiful, barley any rain 70-80 degrees almost everyday. I grew simple bag seed grow last winter it worked out great it was my first two grows last winter it worked out fine during those months. So back to the soil what u guys think?

You can use any soil you want, as long as there's nothing significantly wrong with it (serpentine/sodic soils, salinity problems, etc). I got my sativas outdoors in clay loam and it's a beast.

You can pick any soil and water accordingly. Well draining sandy/perlite/coco mediums need frequent watering with less water.
heavier clay soils need less frequent waterings with more water
