Hi My name is Tom. I'm trying to start a small closet grow to make oil or coconut oil(going to try both and see which he prefers) for my father. The passed 2 years I've had to watch a once strong independent man go from around 150-160 down to maybe 100 pounds. While being forced to sit idly by while doctors poked and prodded him blaming everything that went wrong on us and the last doctor that operated on him. Makes me sick they can't even admit they f***ed up. But he finally came back home 2 weeks ago. He's been asking for his pen from time to time and other days he barely speaks. I've noticed he eats and drinks more after he uses his pen. So it got me thinking that growing is a much cheaper option than to buy it. Ok now that you know a little bit about my situation I was here to ask if I have 2 closets one is 2x4x8 and the other is 3x4x8 with that room is a perpetual using 6 or less plausible?

Sorry to hear about your father. A perpetual grow can happen in both of those closets for sure. In the 2x4 you could Veg 2 medium sized girls and then Flower them in the 3x4.
Thanks that means a lot. I was just curious on how to stagger a month apart with 4 with maybe a 5th just starting seems to be the easiest to keep track of

What I would do is start 2 feminized seeds in the 2x4, move them to the 3x4 to flower them when they are ready, and then start 2 more in your 2x4 the same day you started flower.
Ok so I'd veg 2 months give or take the flowering time and harvest every other month that sounds like a solid plan thanks man now to get some feminized seeds I need to look for good munchie inducing strains that won't put him to sleep

@whitebb2727 will also have some input as far as your growing situation, he's seems pretty busy this time of year, but I know he will give you any advice he may have for your situation.........as far as a good smoke for your pops....if he's looking for some energy and munchies id say go with a sativa dominant strain.....I help lots of cancer patients and handicap as well ......sativas help a lot of them with energy .....however If he's not use to a strong sativa ,,,start him out slow at first.......for instance I grew some super silver haze recently ....some of the patients I help absolutely loved it and benefited from it greatly......but others who were not use to a strong sativa hated it because of paranoia setting in .......everyone is obviously different ........good luck with you and your father .....and props to you for helping him out ...

I use a 2x2x4 and a 2x4x6 cabs. I start my seeds in solo cups in the 2x2. Under 18/6 until they are yellow a bit at the bottom from needing bigger pots. I then put in 1 gallon grow bags and put into the 2x4 for flower.
I recently went perpetual and working the kinks out.
I don't even run fem beans anymore. They show sex about the time they need to be flowered.

@whitebb2727 @Indacouch thanks for the input I really appreciate it guys and yea he'll definitely have to work his tolerance up. I'm going to check out some sativas on leafly and see if I can find one that'll give him munchies
