Best/safe way to buy seeds online?

Just had a shipment banked at customs. Ordered from herbies sent from Spain to Florida. No trouble I don’t think just no seeds ‍. Any recommendations?

Order from the US

If you order from overseas, pick a company that offers stealth packaging and guaranteed delivery/delivery insurance. The Attitude, Sensible seeds, and True North I've had good luck with, as well as a few others. The Attitude has a killer Christmas promotion going on right now. Otherwise, as the other fellow said, order from a US based company and avoid customs altogether.

If you are in Florida don’t order overseas. There are plenty of domestic US seed banks that never go through any customs hassles. They sell fresh stock and you get your beans in a matter of days not weeks. Here’s my favorite one...

Unfortunately, they seem to be out of stock on just about everything. The UK seed banks are not processing orders until further notice. Time to start cloning!

Not quite everything but there was a fire sale just in the last few weeks; the more popular stock is always limited and goes fast. Get on the email list for updates and sales.
There are lots of other seed vendors in the US...I think the overseas banks suck especially attitude. They make you buy extra dumb stuff you don’t need to get “stealth” shipping and many of their beans are old stock. You want to see vendors restocking all the time; that way you know the seed is fresh.

Oregon elite seeds just ran an awesome 35% off sitewide sale. CSI Humboldt just ran 25% off (email them and you might still get it). Great Lakes Genetics. DC Seed Exchange. Neptune. All american companies shipping legal hemp seeds.

Was there anything in the package? They hide them in different shit sometimes.

I know this is old but you made me think of my cousin, he called me complaining that his Attitude order's seeds were seized by customs but it turned out they were inside the cat toy he threw out. Luckily he talked to me before his garbage got picked up!

One thread about stealth shipping I read somewhere the seedbank had stuffed the seeds into the corrugations of the cardboard box the toys were shipped in. Guy sent an e-mail about there not being any seeds in the package, they replied telling him where to look.

That looks kinda cool. One of my orders came in this cheesy pink sewing kit. Just a needle and a little wad of pink yarn in a box. The seeds were inside the yarn ball.

This goes for anybody from any state In the US; don’t order seeds from overseas! There are lots of domestic seed banks here. No need to wait several weeks for your order to go through customs or even possibly get snagged plus your money stays here in the domestic economy....
I get beans in 5-7 every time I order but there’s a lot of stuff out of stock atm...

I expected it to be a legitimate company. Im in California. I can get seeds from inside my state legally.

They posed themselves as legitimate. They are not legitimate.

Where you from the us?
