Sorry, I can't remember what hoods got the best scores. I DO remember that spending more money on an air-cooled hood didn't necessarily get you a better hood though.

I think a lot depends on the area you're trying to light. If you're grow area is rectangle, then a hood that is rectangular would be best.....square area, square hood.

I like the blobkbuster 6". This is really what I was asking, whats the best hood for spreading 600w over a 4x4, I have two 600s and an 4x8. With my new space I am noticing my hoods seem to be directing the light into a smaller area, these hoods I have are more suited to a 400w over a 2x3.
