Best Places In The World For Making a Living In The Cannabis Industry

In Cali, at least around here it is very competitive, "I've got mine screw yours" attitude dictates the market, clubs won't pay growers more than $2400-2800lb and sell it at $15-18g and make $6K off a lb. They are selling wax out of clubs now like crackrocks in Compton in the 80's. Local overregulation has added a %15+ tax. We want your money, but we don't want protect your rights from the big bad scary fed government. Shit is getting fucked over here, erybody and THIER uncle who wants to make a quick buck in our recession is jumping on the bandwagon.

Its funny, the suburban soccer moms and people on the outside of the industry say frequently, "what recession" because the cannabis industry supports soo much of the many micro economic bubbles from LA to here, and past Humboldt that they don't see because they walk into whole foods or Albertsons or wherever and they swipe their plastic money card get everything they want and do not realize that without the cannabis industry the town they live in would likely be bankrupt by now.

That's the truth, same outdoor here in norcal you can't even sell for $1000lb will fetch $38-4200.,even off the medical market it has driven price for quality indoor way down, hard to get $3k consistently anymore. If the clubs only pay 24, I i want mine at 2flat

the cops are an issue if you arent smart/discreet. Even with "legal medical grows" that are supposedly legal under ca laws they will cause problems. but u can find wholesale buyers easily if u grow good product and its easy to keep quiet cuz 9/10 people could care less or are growing themselves. And truthfully if u can grow stealthly, selling the product is generally the hardest part, and places like santa cruz u can get good money for your crop consistently and easily, tho generally not legally.

Nail on the head, the market all around is being flooded by people with little to no experience jumping on the bandwagon and greedbags trying to "make thier million" fast up north. price gets driven down, quality goes with, and the niche that remains where the growers that have been producing quality locally for years gets hurt as well. Quality always outsells quantity, and there will ALWAYSE be a market for ++A quality but as the market transitions it become harder to keep getting what you know you ganj is worth G for G and lb for lb. the legitimate medical market is a tiny slice of the pie and is often locally insignificant. Its not what's been keeping towns like SC as mentioned, Mendo, and other would be "highway towns" alive and healthy in a time when motor city USA can revert into 3rd world decrepencay. That and HOLLYWOOD could keep Cali afloat.

Some one said a long time ago,if the government were really serious about the war on drugs what they would do is legalize it,then tax and regulate them out of business ,just like they do with every other small business In the country,

Depends if you are more concerned about risks involved or making $$$. If you don't have millions set aside it will be difficult to do 100% legally. Places like Colorado and California are less risky to grow in however they are soo saturated that it would be difficult to get rich or make serious money unless you are moving it to other states. Growing in states with harsher laws, you will make a higher margin of profit at the risk of spending multiple years in prison if caught. This is from someone who has lived and grown in Colorado as well as an illegal state where over 5 plants is a felony with a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 1-3 years.

Weed sells for 1dollar per g.
Imigration just easy you only have to not get charged the first three years there to get your uruguay passport.
Go there buy a big farm in the right spot and become a contractor of the big pharmaceutical companies like bayer basf etc.
They have now labs there doin scientific research and produce pharmaceuticals using cannabis as a source.
But you would just be a farmer amongst other farmers.
nothing special and NO 10-25$ per g.

like I said selling as a club there is possible too (99 plants per club with a minimum of x clubmembers) but for just 1$ Uruguay/g. The government set it that low to keep the criminals out of the buisness and out of their country.

Thats why I love the non-greedy President called Don Pepe. From his monthly paycheck of 12500$ he keeps 10% for his living the rest he gives to poor people in his country. I never seen a us american politican or president doing that. They are in it for dollar and tax and before you make money obamas and bushs will make that money because they have the connections making that money. $ makes $. And laws will never make a grower rich imo.
Laws made by greedy people will only do one thing help the greedy to make even more $$$.
When I hear 25$us for one g for recreational I have to say greedy bastards thats what they are.


For a farmer especialy in uruguay 1$/g is still a good one if you think about what other crop gives you + - 50 cent wholesale for one gram of material. I would say if they find the right market propably weedfarms will become a second leg beside cattle market for their economy.
Pepe is my man. Good people make good things its that simple. He keeps hundreds of people out of jail that way. Smuggling weed from columbia into uruguay and street dealing is now useless. 1$/g is not worth for criminals to make their hands dirty.

New England we got high prices and a lot of lower end indoor goes for decent cash best place to start I ain't even thinking about moving out west less money and their is a drug war to be fought right here right now. How you think the west became so green?

Marijuana sells it self and basically every dealer in Australia is after money, he knows he will get return customers because he doesn't have any higher quality rivals.
