Best perpetual harvest strain?

Hi I am starting a perpetual harvest op and I am wondering what a good strain would be? I currently have Pineapple Express, kandy kush and king kush clones and of the three I am def keeping the PE(solid yield and short flower also clones very easily).

I am looking for 2 different strains that I could use. I was thinking chronic and AK-47 but chronic is out because it doesn't clone well also looking for a short flower time. Would prefer at least one indica because the PE is more sativa and would like a variety.

Set up is 3 1000w hps, ff soil/nutes. 4 plants in 5 gal buckets under each light. I have never set up a perpetual harvest before so any tips are appreciated. I average a little over a lb a 1000w light and hope to average about the same here or lb a month.

White Widow is a high yielder, and the stuff I had from Nirvana flowered relatively quick too... around 75 days.

Hello big, Here is what I do for a one plant per week harvest on the average when using HID...I have since switched to LEDS.

Take 6 to 10 clones Rapid Rooters or Aeroponic Cloner (strain dependent for me) once I get roots they go into 16oz cups;

These are placed under a 2, 4ft T-5s for 2 weeks or so 24hr on.

Every week one is transplanted to a gallon pot treated with "Microkote" and back under T-5s for another week 24hr on.

Then under 600W HPS 20/4 I have 9-12 plants going in veg most of the time...This gets a little wiggy when I introduce new plants from seed.

I veg clones 6 weeks under the 600w...This is where the Microkote comes in to prevent "root spinout". AFTER 4 WEEKS transplant to 7 gal Smart Pot.

Two more weeks veg under the 600w still at 20/4

Pull plant from 1000w flower room for harvest replace with 7 gallon from veg...The flower room is 12/12 for whatever flower period is required.

I have a clone and germ area on a bench under 4ft T-5s...3 x 3 veg tent with 600w HPS, 5 x 5 flower tent with 1000w HPS (This was my set up until recently switching to LEDs) & 3 x 3 tent with six mothers in 10 inch square pots under a Hydro Grow 189x LED 18/6.

This makes sense to me cause I do it...I hope I communicated it so that you can follow the flow...Like I said it is an average of 100-120g per week but it is very easy to get out of sync...We can talk strains later cause I do not know what you want for an outcome or what grow technique you use...FWIW

i run a perpetual harvest w/ one or two plants per week being harvested. i have one drip tray that i use for transition plants, and i make sure it is never empty, as soon as a space opens, i fill it. the key is taking tons of clones and keeping plenty of healthy mothers, so that you always have girls ready for the big show. as far as what strains work best, all of them? its definitely easiest with a strain that you know the flowering time on, and i would look for at least one or two that are fast/vigorous veggers, like sativa dom hybrids. and don't give into temptation to overcrowd your room, unless you are planning on harvesting a whole drip table at a time. i lkke to grow my girls fairly big, so i can cut one or two a week and keep the people (especially me) happy.

Thank you for the responses! It turns out I will be looking for a mostly indica strain. People want a knockout half retarded high. A few have been complaining about the Pineapple Express saying they don't feel anything when their eyes are low and red and they have been giggling since they smoked. Everytime I have a sativa Dom strain they complain. I love the sativa high but my customers don't. Stupid customers.

However here is my plan for the setup 3-1000w hps in flower room. 4 plants in 5 gallon buckets with fox farm ocean forest with perlite added rotated in when 4 are taken out(I am open to having one plant harvested a week instead of 4 at the end of the month) veg/clone room is 6-2 bulb cfl work lights. Veg room will prob expand to keep mothers.

My goal is 1lb per month using 4 plants a month(qp a plant) when I have a consistent space to grow I have hit over a lb per light but never with this few plants.

Hey big, My indica go to is Pakistan Valley at World of S33ds...Beautiful landrace indica, well behaved, easy grow, great yield (100+ gms/plant easy), clones well, kick-ass stone. I think they are offered in fems so that will save you some room and priced right...Sickmeds William's Wonder would be my second choice, not quite the yield but paralyzing stone...FWIW
