Best Nutrients?

Hi there, newb in the growing field!

Quick few questions..

1. What stages dyou run in nutrientsr
veg and bloom? Typically veg nutes for veg and bloom nutes for bloom. If your plants start to turn yellow in flower, add some veg nutes to the mix. keep em green.

2. Flushing - is that when u let off nutrients towards end of flowering and just water so it cleans out? Is it a worthwhile process
Your soil is going to retain a lot of nutrients. So feeding water for the last week or two isn't really "starving" em. The plant can still use what its got in the pot/ground and what's stored in its fan leaves. Personally, I feed plain water in soil for at least the last week.

3. What are the best and necessary nutrients for 1 plant, and what do they do? ( obvi opinions will vary just want general shout)
Best? best... The best and necessary nutrients are carbon oxygen hydrogen nitrogen phosphorus potassium calcium magnesium sulfur iron manganese zinc copper molybdenum boron and chlorine. Some of these are contained in your tapwater. some are in the air. some are in the soil. A standard base nute will give your plant everything it needs to grow. Don't get caught up with all the hype and marketing in this niche market. Every nutrient company out there wants to sell you way more product than you need. I suggest you buy one bottle of "grow" and one bottle of "bloom." Powdered nutrients would be even more cost effective, but a lot of new growers will fry their plants with them. You don't need "bud boosters" or any other additives on your first couple of grows. Get through one with just base nutrients, then worry about the additives.

Edit: Some good one-part nutrient lines:
Dynagro: foliage pro for veg and bloom for bloom! As mentioned, you can also run "grow" through the whole run.
Botanicare: pure blend pro grow and bloom.
fox farm: grow big and tigerbloom.

These should all work, and are fairly inexpensive.
