I understand they're both using the same basic elements, but I think there's more to it than that. I've been smoking weed for 30+ years and have noticed differences in organic vs salt based nutes. Not just with weed, but also with garden veggies.

I can't fully explain why, but I believe it's true. The organic buds usually smell and tast better and are smoother. But organic growing is slower than than chemicals.

And I don't know who the hell wrote that book and if they should be trusted. There's a lot of nonsense in some books. This is probably written by your Horticulture master at your college who thinks citric acid is bad for microbes in small amounts, lol.

And that link was just the first one that popped up when I searched organic vs inorganic cannabis.
Of course there is more to it, however the differences you are able to discern likely have more to do with things such as amino acids, bacteria, and hormones. This is one of the reasons that I choose not to run a sterile res for my hydro, and also include organics along with my salts, such as fulvic acid, kelp, and bacteria. I believe that is what makes my hydro taste like organic. This is the book, you can buy it on amazon or search for a free pirated pdf copy online. I don't know the author personally, but your ego seems to get in the way of your learning:

You're adding organics to it, and that's not what these guys who are arguing are doing. I'm sure your's is better than just chemicals.

Does that book talk about adding organics to it? Because then I'd find a free copy and check it out.
