Best method of cloning

They're all a matter of personal preference really, and it's a vast (and sometimes contentious) subject in itself...you need to be a little more specific in your questioning ;-)

I was 100% on all my clones this year using my aloe vera plant!!! Cut about a 1" piece off my aloe plant, cut my clones and dipped into the end of the aloe. Then planted into my seedling soil!!!

I've tried aloe and it did work I never got 100% though

I have jiffy pellets but I'm a newb and not having the best of luck. The pellets don't seem to be "holding" the cuttings snugly.
Also, how long under humidity/dome until you start letting air in?

When they are rooted...

Til then 100% humidity is the goal... the plant has no roots so water must be taken thru the leaves, from the air....Since plants suck at this, we must provide optimum conditions....

Aero style cloners r great, but need a test run or 2 to get it right... if ur worried about a specific cutting, a rooting cube and ur good. Keep is moist, light 20+ hrs a day, and DON'T TOUCH IT. Not for like a week.... Pulling it up every day to check for roots doesnt help, I promise...

Rockwoll put into a 2l bucket filled with low nutes 5minutes take them out shake 2-3 times so it dosent drip when u squeeze the cube. make a small hole in the center of the cube, i use a toothpick. Filk the hole with gel. Cut the clones put them in a shotglas with some gel cut the next clone, remove from shotglas to cube and repeat. Roots in 3-4 days 80% rh for the first 2 days then 60% on the 4th day. (I dont spray anywater on my clones they dont need it with the small nutes in cube and so high rh)there are useually roots easy stuff really sorry for the bad english hope everything works out for u amigo :)

What the best method out there ? How long many days ?
VERY sharp knife, i recommend a razor blade. Gel like Clonex or equivalent. Rock wool cubes which i poke a hole in with a blade to make it easy to put stem in. Cuttings with thicker woodier stems generally work best for me, and remove all but the top growth tip along the stem if there are multiple on the cutting. I take about a 3 inch cut generally and then trim the leaves so they dont fight with each other in the bin. Place cutting in domed container and mist at least once a day under 24hrs of light and temps 80-90f are idea.

Cut clone from donor. Stick in wet coco. Place plastic bag over clone. 100% success. Send money you would have spent on root hormone and or cloner to my electric bill. Thanks.
