Yeah my scrogs under the cobs barely get by lol
I think some folks still sounding off on old technology but dont realize alot has changed in the past year. I could put my 30 veros over a 4x10 and run 2800 mA drivers instead of the 1400 mA giving me 3000 watts total lol instead of 1450. Hang em high and would make any HPS on the market look straight stupid. Than I could grow 8 foot plants but it would defeat my purpose of shorter veg period.
The cobs I run are rediculous bright for the low wattage efficiency I have them set at.

This thread is starting to remind me of the descriptions of strains on breeder websites. Pictures of exceptionally grown weed that the buyer of the seeds will never achieve regardless of light.
I'm sure that the good growers can get the same results with most lighting. Are we going to start counting trichomes?

I didn't start growing until the early 90's.
This was my 1st grow book given to me from a friend in the early 80's.
I enjoyed this book.
It was published in 1975.

Just to confirm with you noobs as well that i do have relevant biology and physics qualifications, it turns out you dont but argue like you do.
Here we are slinging ppfd but you generalise green light as all the same and reflected by leaves - neither is correct and this board is a chance for you to be correct or shut up being the big biologist and discuss more than your own personal ego.
Do you need me to copy and paste light scattering and stuff that you seem to know but then end up calling a leaf a reflector?
