I have weve met on threads before he sucked you all in, dude wasnt even that good a grower and didnt understand sciencexso well so when these leds came along he fitted right in.

I found it amazing when he started talking about T5 and led lol. I have 240 watts of cobs that makes that 8 bulb 400 watt electricity monster t5 setup look like a cfl on steroids lol. No comparison what so ever. Not to mention all that heat the t5 produces is absurd anyone in there right mind would pick that over a more efficient modern day full spectrum led.

Please can you find some way to contradict my numbers and tell me that it dont cost me an extra 2400 watts a day to run 6 gravitas over the cobs and get the same results

And I dont have to worry about any bulbs blowing out or replacing ever.

It's your money to do with as you please. I'm not the enemy. But that is a lot of money to put out for technology that should cost at minimum 20% -30% less in a couple years or less. The technology is good but the price point reflects that it is new technology. I'm someone that always waits for the price point to become reasonable. I don't see that as reasonable but that's just me.

I'm actually looking at adding some LED strips to my 2' x 4' tent to supplement my T5 fixture that doesn't provide the coverage I want for larger plants.. A mix of two 6500k and two 3500K lights in my 4 bulb fixture with some Samsung strips on both sides. I'm not anti-LED. I just don't think they actually grow better weed. They do save on power, cut heat, and last longer. They have their pro's but the one con I can't overcome is the price. I'm not paying what they want at this time and will continue to grow using HID. If my ballasts go out and I need new lighting I will seriously look at LED's. Not because they grow better weed but because I would be stupid not to look at everything.

Ok, now that he has left, it's time to get to the real science and actual facts. lol

Green is the most in light in nature, its all reflected? Even half reflectes? Have you worked out the problem here?

Posting videos from youtube doesn't prove anything. What's this guys academic background? What studies has he done? What methodology did he use for those studies? What was the size of his sampling? Etc...

Anyone can make a youtube video in a day. Scientific research takes years.
