Thanks to everyone for the replies. I've learned quite a bit from this thread already.
You could box it off with some 2by4's, say 6by6. Put up some reflective foam board for walls. Then buy a used switchable 1000w HPS/MH off Ebay for a couple hundo. Or use a closet. lol

I feel as if keeping all the space I have is the best bet due to heat and just having a nice bit of airflow in the closet for my plants. For the walls, I heard bamboo panels kept them safe but I suppose reflective foam will benefit the plants by giving them more light? Also, thank you for informing me that there are HPS/MH hybrid lights. Do you recommend any manufactures for these types of lights?
I'm sure theres a limit, but i haven't found it yet. The heat is your main concern. You could buy two 1000w switchable lights that are both MH or HPS at the flip of a switch. So depending on stage of growth you would have the right light spectrum you need.

Yeah, I have an AC unit with a temperature gauge for the heat, but I've heard LED makes an AC unit or fan unnecessary. How many plants would 2 1000w lights comfortably handle? Also any manufactures you'd recommend??
that is a big closet. do you have any grows under your belt? also your budget is 200? just for lights or all together?
if you want to use that space your gonna need a lot more than 200. but i can help you get started on you way with a much smaller more efficient setup in that price range(probably closer to 400-500) for now while you learn and save cash to do bigger grows.
Well I don't HAVE to make use of the entire space right off the start, and yes as you can tell
this is my first grow, but I want to do it right. The $200 budget was a budget I created just for the lights. I'm willing to increase that if necessary.
