Finding a grow light for $200 is fairly easy, but getting one that’s efficient is a different story. Trying so save on your light is like trying to water down your nutes to extend them. Best bang for your buck would be going a DIY route. To cover that 4x4 space you’re looking to spend anywhere from 400-1k depending how sophisticated of a light you are after. Fully controllable or just being able to dim from a knob.

check out RapidLed you could go with some CXB 3590s mix some spectrums 3500k/4000k , Chillled Logic Pucks and pair them with a mean well driver.

You could also do a strip build, these aren’t the latest LEDs but they can still produce some nice runs. GrowLigjtsAustralia has some strips on sale.

Either way you go you’ll be running these lights for 4+ years without having to upgrade

I thought HLG light were supposed to be good? They have a handful under $200, but not many with the wattage for a 4x4
Spend the extra $$$ and get something permanent instead of upgrading again later

Jeezus!!! I'm too scared to ask any questions now after reading this thread, GL @Johntn65 with your hunt for a cheap LED pal, they're ridiculously overpriced in my part of the world so I feel your pain. I see people posting up about these lights for $500-600, must be great to live in the US of A, but when i look them up and add shipping+ taxes its more like $2k if the supplier will even send them here.
