that's about 5ft by 5ft. youre gonna have to go with a big led light or a few small ones to get a decent yield. I recommend the light house hydro chrome series. you can pretty much veg and flower with them no problem. fyi led light wattage is way over rated on most lights.

Lighthouse is kinda junk when you really get down to it imho. but if you really do your research and buy accordingly you won't be disappointed. I went with the han's panels from bonsaihero.com check em out ton's of people like the area 51 or magnum californialightworks has/had a growers feedback program to get like 50% off a specific light check em out at least do the research before you commit to lighthouse hydro are they useing the correct wavelegth leds do they have actual parr radiation figures for the specific light your looking at? These are important questions to ask yourself before you just go price shopping. I promise you, you will get what you pay for.

I know where you are coming from, but I will add one thing. If you buy cheap shite you will get cheap shite, however not all high priced LEDs are worth the money. There are outfits charging big money for crap. I know, I own a couple units which I paid top dollar for and am sorry I tried the LED thing. They do not come close to what I can do with HID. The people here recommend certain lights and maybe they are right. Personally, I don't think LED for horticulture is viable. Yes, you can grow plants but they do not do as well as HID.

I swear there's got to be an organized effort today from the HID Bros...

LED is good for what it's good for. No need to spread the hate.

Here's the run down as I see it:

  1. If you can grow outside, then go Greenhouse.
  2. If you aren't paying a ton for electricity (like I am), and have a low-temperature growing area, then go HID.
  3. If neither of the other two apply, then go LED,
  4. If you like a tangled menagerie in your grow room, and slightly toasted plants, then go CFL.

I've run grows with all of them and each had their purpose. If you couldn't tell already, the only one I really disliked was CFL.
