Best LED for 5x5x7

Hey guys, I set up a 5x5 for the winter and am trying to decide on LED lighting. Right now I'm planning on going with two King LED 1500's. I already set up my ventilation with active air 400cfm so heat isn't an issue. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks

You would probably want four of those lights, by which time your already using more power than a 1000w hps.

So 1000w HPS would be the cheapest route.
If you want LEDs that run less power and perform the same then check out
Timber grow lights
Horticultural lighting group
Or DIY one with COBs, Boards or strips.

Check out LEDgarders site for easy to follow instructions and parts lists.

FWIW pay close attention to the power draw listed and no attention to the name of the light when looking at cheap LEDs.
The 1500w LED name comes from 150 x 10w diodes that it uses, but its only a 260w light

Personal opinion, shared by most, cheap LEDs are no more efficient than HPS so by the itime you light your space properly you would have spent a hell of a lot more than HPS and a bit less than Quality LEDs, about the same if you DIY which isn't as hard as it sounds these days.

Price difference from HPS to say a DIY Cob build is night and day.

Your lookin at $300, hang and plug, simple, 500 watts,
Easy over $1000 DIY for a COB build, 1500watts if you want, with 12 cobs. but 625 watts would very good, but 840 watts should give you great coverage and yield possibly. 3LBs if done correctly with great genetics.

1500w is way to much 750 would be perfect Imo. If he just wants to beat the 2 lights he listed 300w of cobs will kill both of those haha

Gotta agree, 1500w of modern led would fry things. I'd even put the number lower but 750 wont lack and you can always turn them down.
