Best LED around

I use Osram cobs. Osram leds are excellent. They were the best blurple leds in the world by far, their cobs are up there too.

Looks pretty sick.
Why is it when you google the top LED's out there these ones aren't on the list ? Watching some YouTube videos, these spyders by fluency look legit

If you are going by youtube, then advanced platinum leds are the best in the world!!! It says on youtube.

i guess all these other companies need the paid advertisement ,maybe because their lights cant speak for themselves ? when i was first searching for an led fixture ,i almost went with another brand that was supposedly the best .thank GOD i kept on searching tho .after a lot of comparisons .fluence was the obvious choice. now that you've heard of em too im sure you'll think the same..

yes they use fluence spydrs for commercial grows

I'm not just going by YouTube lol.
But , seeing grows with these LED's is impressive . I've noticed with my G8 my buds aren't nearly as big as my buds grown under a 1000w eye horticulture,but, they are so dense it's crazy.

They are from what I hear pretty good lights. I believe growmau5 used to run them before building his own stuff.
The LED world is so full of shit, its hard not to step in it.
Look at those black dog light, bag of shite but people pay though the eye ball for them.. Thanks to youtube and the arseholes who make a living telling everyone products are amazing because some twat payed them to say it.

u can never really go wrong with a 1000 watt fixture lol.. they consume a lot of energy tho,pricey.... spydr gets em nice and chunky too ..

yea too much bs when it comes to any real info on most these leds sold.. it was so hard for me to find the truth but im glad i did lol

So the spyderx says it's for someone not using Co2 and
The sypderxplus is for people running Co2. Because it's so much brighter ? Is there such a thing?

Light intensity depends on the space a lamp is used in. There could be a design principal at play... in the Spyder case it's meant to be used close to canopy to avoid reflective losses and the plus version puts more energy in the same footprint. I don't see it requiring CO2 in a 4x4 though. CO2 supplement can be useful at high or low intensity.

Anyway, I'll throw my hat in the ring. Tasty LED lamps are among the most effecient available and there's been a recent price drop.

sure u can grow without it but it isn't recommended...ill always run co2 with my spydrxplus ..i shoot for full potential

agreed. but there are many many many grows where i wasted my money and my back lugging CO2 tanks because it did nothing because i was missing other crucial factors. nowadays i just try to keep it elevated in any respect. ill take a constant 500-1000 ppm over trying to get 1500 and then running out and having zero for a time, etc. i feel like i get 100% of the benefit of slightly elevated CO2 as opposed to just some of the benefit of trying to get it dialed. in a way its analogous to using lower PPFD.I know that if i stay below 1000 ppfd i will raise 9 out of 10 A+++ crops vs trying to push it and introducing limiting factors. my little efficient direct water heater vents into my grow space (with CO monitoring of course) and is good for a few hundred ppm here and there. so ill always take it and as long as i have good circulation and atmospheric or better CO2 levels im happy. and when the girls are really impressing me ill lug the bottles for them. CO2 is not cheap and literally double the cost with time and gas to go get it, so im almost as content to yield 1.5 GPW without it as opposed to being rigorous about it and trying to push towards 2 GPW

the only thing "bad" i can say about it is that its $1000 and you can build a cob rig that would perform the same for just over 1/3 of that cost

That seems like I'd have to learn how to put all that together and stuff and I'm just looking to get something already together . Plus the SpyderX has a three year warranty.

its not too hard to build your own lights if youre at all handy and not afraid to learn

what i was proposing for you was a 320W driver running 6 cobs at 60W each, ~$350. its about 400W at the wall and should outyield the spydr

its very much worth the price bro .do it.. not saying a cob wouldn't actually work. I've never actually see one in action but with the spydrx u can guarantee an excellent light with a three year warrantee and excellent customer service.js
