I use a drip system and my mothers couldn't look
healthier...very low maintanence system.
I use this system for space reasons...

damn those r moms! clean setup drip and forget I like it nice. i guess its better to keep renewing you mom like every few weeks or is it better to keep her long term?

I am going to make a 5 gallon DWC system for my blueberry and strawberry cough mom's. Big 5 gallon bucket for lots of root growth.

Thats what I do ATM. The DWC produces way more shoots than I can use. I start a new mom every 3-4 weeks and flower the elder.

Been tossing over half my cuttings....no place to grow em.

I plan on keeping these for a while...I don't see the point
of getting rid of mothers if they still produce loads of
clones and dank buds.

DESTROY THE INFIDEL!! :-)
hahaa hahaaa i figure it's esier for me to only have to worry about 1 resivor. the clones never touch soil and so far it works for me but thats just what i do im a newb to hydro. strictly soil for the past 7 years, except that one dwc grow, turnd out pretty slimy but i've learnd alot since then thanks to the fine ppl on riu but if you want to prosicute me for usin soil go ahead, pick on the newb. it's ok i love you all, well most of you and not in any gay way either, not that there is anything wrong with that

so how big would the roots be in the dwc....

wouldnt changing mothers be tedious...as you'd have to cut the roots right? cuz they get tangled...

Mr I Can Do That For Half
I grow my mommies in 5 gallon buckets in miracle grow moisture control soil.I try to keep them under 5 feet if I can 3-4 and bushy.I can take more clones then Id need for 1 mom but I keep 2-3 of the same strain just for emergency issues.I have 3 moms that er over 2 years old now but might change 1 or 2 out sometime soon or might use 2 for cross breeding with another strain.Soil is just the easiest for long term moms since you just water them and keep them under some shop lights 24-7 maybe add some fish emuslsion every once in a while for food boost
