Im kinda new, but just finished my first dry, My temps were around 58-63 degrees F, and my Rh stayed around 50-53%, I had a humidifier to keep humidity up and a small oscaliting fan for airflow, it took about 7 days to dry(hanging them upside down) im almost 2 weeks into cure and my buds are pretty damm good, just be careful of mold, goodluck

I pretty much have the same question as boogie, mine are gettin cut tommorow and they are in a shed where the temps range from 45-60 and humidity is low 15-20% will this negatively affect my buds if humidity is too low? how about temps, whats the lowest I can go?

I am NOT the drying expert but those humidity levels seem pretty low to me. Your going to dry them out pretty quickly. The goal is to get a nice even drying where the inside is drying at the same rate as the outside of the bud. That said, when you notice the outsides getting dried, you may want to throw them in a jar or large bag to let the moisture level in the bud equalize for a day, then moving them to the rack again.

Also make sure your fan is not blowing directly on them. I just harvested 4 stalks early because I accidently moved my dehumidifier to close to my SCROG. It dried the shit out of the buds the hot air was blowing on in a single day. Threw the whole bud in a bag and 3-4 hours latter they are all nice and moist and ready to properly dry.

Kinda different question, but same topic. I have my first gal ALMOST ready to harvest, dry and cure. I want to cut one bud and quick dry to test it out (plus I'm out and salivating over my plant).

Is there an effective/acceptable way to dry the bud quickly (like same day)? Appreciate ANY feedback.

Happy Smokin...
