I just started using rockwool and I probably never will again. Rockwool sucks because it will not form properly around the stem. IMO you want it to be nice and firm around the stem.

...an ezcloner, or make an aerocloner yourself....once you get roots, plant it in whatever you want.

It's all preference... Depending on the layout of your room, what equipment you have, what applies to your skill set... you know... it's just what works for you.

I transplant into 3-5 gallon pots of coco and I love the Oasis Cubes. $10US gets 50 cubes. It is impossible to overwater and really easy to keep moist.

I think if all Hydro stores started giving out samples they would sell like crazy. I think most people just don't know about them.

Don't try to keep them in a nice sheet or anything... just break them off into individual squares and use. simple.

Give them a try and I bet you will convert. Use the Brown 1 1/2 cubes. 50 per sheet.

I use water and a powder for rooting clones.Sometimes I get roots in 5 days sometimes 7.But they all seem to root somehow.Im new to using water to clone in,but I used to use rockwool with great sucess. But since Im working on going medialess in my grow I just usewater and neoprene plugs the first 7 days then when i change water I add some low level nutes,I usually have roots showing by then and the new roots need nurishment.
But mainly irs finding what works for you the best.
Good Luck

I just use pro-mix bx with rooting gel, a heat pad and humidity dome and I get over 90%. I don't see the point wasting money on rooting cubes and cloners when I got a bale of pro-mix that works just as good.

Been using straight Jiffy 7 pellets (like from Home Depot) and had good success last run, also used heatpad and dome.
