I've seen a bunch of research that says that using organic nutes in a hydro system is a waste and that in soil it's basically the same. I mean if you compost your stuff I understand but what I'm talking about is manufactured organic nutes like Humbolt. Since you are breaking down the food to it's trace elements what does it matter if it's organic. I mean, can a nitrogen particle even be organic? Any thoughts you guys?

yes cfls for veg work hell they work for flower
depending on how u mount them u can get a better spread of light then off on hid
and all u going to argue with me save that shit
i use hid hell even throw in cfls i will use everything i can find to help

as for plant naw it wont notice i mean it may say hum whats this its different
but hey i like it and not as hot in here

Thanks and will do. I must admit back to the original post. Fact is I am pretty ignorant when it comes to CFL's except to say adding light with different spectrum's can only be beneficial. I place florescent at the base of my grow room to add light to the underside of the plants...

Maybe off point but I think I'll stick with my Happy Frog, Earth worm castings and Bat Guano (along with my suite of Fox Farm products). I would be concerned about using human feces.
