Looking at getting some new lights, iv got a viparspectra 600w led light at the moment in a 4x4 tent, got my eyes on 2 spider farmer 2000 lights! Any better lights out there? have about £500 to spend!

I got a Spiderfarm SF2000 a while ago to veg, mainly because there was so much info about what lights I should get but little selection on amazon.

Seems ok so far.

I was thinking of using the viparspectra for the veg then getting 2 spider farmers for the flower
If you are comfortable with a DIY light your best bet is to do a search or ask in the LED section.

If you want to buy a ready to go unit the SF2000 is a great light. I would just buy 2 and use it for the entire grow if it's for that single 4x4 tent. You could also consider a SF4000 but having 2 SF2000s gives you more options to change configurations and tents later on.

Sounds like your in the UK? I would be looking into these for the money, also I think you get a discount as there an RIU sponsor but not sure if it applies to already discounted products.

I looked at the sf 4000 but thought 2 sf 2000 would give it a better coverage! I should of said I’m gonna use the viparspectra for the seedling/veg stage in a separate tent then transfer them to another tent for the flowing with the spider farmers so iv got some go all the time.

This is my grow at the moment with the viparspectra but I don’t think coverage is that good! It’s been in flower for 7 weeks
That Viparspectra 600W light is actually 260W. If that's the only light in your 4x4 right now that those plants are flowering under that's not good. They need more light than that. Would explain the small flowers at 7 weeks.

Yeah I thought they were small for 7 weeks, so it will be worth chucking a spider farmer 2000 in there with it to help finishing the flowering

will 2 spider farmer 2000 be enough light for the flower stage in the 4x4 tent?
Yes 2 should be fine to flower a 4x4. But I have no idea how much effect one will have on the rest of your current grow. It may be just too late to help bulk them up but who knows.

Idk how to link it on my phone but check out the 480w meijiu lights on alibaba. It was $352 after shipping. They say they use top bin Samsung diodes and you have the choice of 660nm strips as well.
Shipping took a while to because ups is backed up, but once it got in the system I got it within 3 days. It arrived today and I set it up. Dope as hell. It came with a dimmer and its super fuckin easy to set up.
My only issue is the driver doesn’t sit in the middle of the board, but with those ratchets carabiners it hangs fine.
I’m running it at like 300w right now and it lights up my 4x4 great.

Edit: the wire hanging through the board is my humidity/temp probe. Not connected to the light

Hey I know this is an old post but how dies that 600 watt vipraspectra work for you? Is it sufficient to bud plants?
