Best Bubblegum Strain?

That's cool back in like 2011ish someone gave me a few buds of bubblegum that were extremely sativa. Didn't have much of a bubblegum flavor but it had a racy high like nothing I've ever smoked. Dj short has released breeders choice mix #4 only 470 packs will ever be made supposedly. There are a few left floating around still. It's the indica kush side of the blueberry line. If your a Blueberry guy I would get them while there Available. It's not the light blue thai bb4 thing that smells like blueberry candy which I dont like as much. It's the Indica one like Bb3 that smells like fresh more natural blueberry. Also how are you liking the Philips cmh thing? Does it yeald OK? Also have u tryed the differant spectrum iterations and if so which one do you prefer? I learned to grow indoors using the Philips cmh retro white 400w from b4 the 315 came out but haven't had a chance to Pick up the 315s yet.

If you're chasing a pure pink bubblegum flavor, I had 1 from CSI Humboldts Bubblegum S1s.....there was a pine flavor upon inhale, which wasn't my favorite taste....followed by a spot on 100% pink bubblegum exhale....if it was only bubblegum flavored, I would have ranked it as good as pre99 Blueberry flavor, it was THAT good!

I really liked the 315 cmh phillips master bulb, I think it was 3100k , I used it in veg and flower to reduce stretch, then tried the 4000k in veg and the 3100k in flower, more stretch. So depending on the strain I’d switch my veg bulb. The 315 out performed a 400 watt hps in flower. Under my metal halide in veg and hps in flower I averaged 1.2 grams per watt, the 315 cmh got 1.5 gpw and I was really happy, problem was the 315 kept going out after a year, under warrent I sent it in to get fixed multiple times. I’m now using led lighting I got a great deal on Amazon. Wer can I get the dj short blue berry? I usually order seeds at midsweeksong, to be honest I haven’t bought seeds or even looked in a few years. I’ve been finding my own crosses better than bought seed packs. right now I’m running a cross I made a few years back, it’s th seeds bubble gum crossed w a spliff blueberry. It’s a feminized cross I had pollen off the th seeds gum that I sprayed a branch w Tiresias mist. This cross is crystallized like crazy, not much gum or bb smell more skunk but it produces great! I planted 10 seeds all females of course, I was expecting variation,, all are identical uniform in height, structure, smell, taste and crystals galore. Making more S1’s soon.

It's on sale a 16 pack for like $96 at seedsherenow.com till the end of june or $100 at dcseedexschange.com I think there both domestic so no worries about customs but there's only 470 packs ever made so it won't be around much longer it was bred 2019ish. I would only buy the breeders choice mix #4 tho. The other #s are probably more hit and miss as far as keepers are concerned and more sativa Dom. Do you have good luck with the s1 thing? I thought they usually are lower vigor etc. I think breeders choice mix #4 is basically f4 blueberry indica. As far as I can tell he outcrossed Bb3 to something that looked totally different and then bred out all of the traits from the male he used to make the first mix in order to get males to work with and remake seeds from a rare cutting of Bb3. I personally don't buy the story that he had "old stock of the fruity kush line" otherwise why has he been selling all the other versions of blueberry that aren't as good as Bb3 was. After f3 of the "fruity kush line" aka Bb3 he crossed it to something thai and it wasn't as good after that. There were only 500 packs of Bb3 which is what made it famous but it got watered down with the thai after that. Bb4 was good but it lost its original indica hashplant thing after f3. The Bb3 is one of the rarest cuttings there is only 2 or 3 people have it as far as I can tell. I think nirvana and paradise seeds payed like 10,000 for a cutting or something like that. But it's in the breeders choice mix #4. Strike while the iron is hot! Lol

I'm looking for a racy sativa Blubblegum I smoked in like 2011 or 2012 that wasn't bubblegum flavored but it was like a whole different drug then normal weed lol

Serious seeds. They have the sativa version of Bubblegum, when grown well its an incredible upbeat high - I'd put it up there with super lemon haze. And if you're lucky, you'll get the strawberry pheno. But ime doesn't taste like bubblegum but has a sweet smell and taste

did grab an indiana cut online. as for for its authenticity wont find out for a few months as for it being the best couldn't tell ya

That was my guess too. I got some as freebies but I think I need a few more packs to hunt threw atleast to see what's really in there.

Which housing/balast/reflector company were you having problems with?

The 315 were from boulder light co. I payed 500 a piece but that was when the hole ceramic thing took off on like 2014 or 15. Wouldn’t buy theirs again! Lots of really well priced 315’s out there today for a better price and I’m sure they have better ballasts now to. If you all want a sativa bubble gum serious seeds is one stop shop, dance buds, racy high like the old Hawaiian. I beet myself up for not making S1’s… anyways I love making S1’s no problems and uniformity is pretty good w most strains.. I normally bought packs of 10, found the best female and made S1’s,,or if I buy feminized seeds I just pick my favorite one. I made S1’s of th seeds bubble gum, and its funny I still have a breeders pack I haven’t even opened because I have like 100 seeds I made off my favorite female from the fist pack and they are all just like the original mom.

Sorry if you're looking for blueberry terps, from reports I've seen, the F5 just isn't it.... there's a reason DJ and JD don't use the F5 in ANYTHING- they stick to the F4 male

f5 isn't a limited release either you can probably switch your order. My guess is f5 is a keeper from #4 crossed to whatever watered down blueberry he's been selling for the last 20plus years (in order to revitalize it.) I think he bot the BB3 clone like from nirvana or paradise seeds. Someone sold them the cut for 10,000 supposedly. Idk how else he could have got the old phenotype (Bb3) back and that's the only thing that explains why he used that weird male. So he could breed the x chromosomes from the male back out of the line and have a y chromosome to make seeds with again as their are no surviving males from Bb3. If he really had "Fruity kush" stock from the 80s or 90s why has he waited so long to use it? Lol

Well I’m pissed I didn’t get the #4pack but I already ordered I not going to try and change it since I’ve never ordered from them before and I wouldn’t want to be one of those complaining customers. Anyways it’s a good start, I’ll pop all the seeds and fingers crossed I hit a good one. Who knows sometimes variation helps one find a keeper. It will be a few months before I know, but I’ll post my findings here. If anyone gets one of the other packs and hits the lottery let me know.

By the way bc bud depot blueberry, not a fan had 6 females, a few had foxtails, only one had blueberry smell, and really not many crystals. If my buds ain’t covered in crystals I’m not happy.

I have had some Acapulco that tasted just like hubba bubba bubble gum,and a nice clear head. maybe check for some of that from a good breeder.

I like calyx bros, both bubblegum s1s and the bubblegum ice cream which is like a bx kinda with cookies and cream

I have 1 b c b d bubble gum that is enormus, I’ll put up a pic tomorrow. It must be sativa dominant, not really big on crystals, but really branch w huge buds all over. It’s a Few days past 10 weeks in flower and still not finished. I’m pulling her in a few days regardless. My clones are getting to big to keep in Veg. I’m making S1’s but probably just to use for crosses. Maybe at branchyness or bigger buds to another strain that finishes faster. We will see
