Best Breeders US

Hello!

I would like to get everyone's opinions/experiences with various breeders located within the United States. I have some breeders that I do already like, but I would also like to expand my options. My grow is an indoor hydroponic system utilizing Rock wool cubes.
I am looking to get strains that produce a large amount of product. I am (for the time being) looking for 2 Sativas, 2 Hybrids, 2 Indicas, and 1 CBD. They do not all have to be from the same breeder of course.

A few breeders that I have been looking into, and this site seems to have positive reviews on, are Exotic Genetics, Crocket Family Farms, and Cannarado Genetics. Any experiences with any of these breeders?

In my experience, I have had great strains with Ethos Genetics (Mandarin Sunset, Snowball) and gotten some good strains with TGA Subcool strains (Ripped Bubba). Any strain recommendations from either of those two seed banks?

Thank you all for your help.

I've been collecting seeds for close to 15yrs. Making small batches last 5yrs or so. Depends on preference and what particular person is looking for but here are few of my favorite breeders of todays market. No particular order really, just breeders I'd recommend depending on what person is looking for.

1) Dying Breed / 3rd Gen (Im relatively new to their genes but I've had tremendous results, maybe some luck. Higher than average price tag but unique profiles, solid resistance and stability)
2) Bodhi ( I can't say enough about Bodhi and while some may not appreciate the kind of off brand F1 catalog there is something for everyone in his work)
3) Karma - Dynasty - OG Raskal - Exotic - Archive - Gage Green(I hesitate to put Top Dawg down I've personally had issues but older gear was top notch for me. All these guys are solid.
4) Thug Pug - Seedjunky

Fem seeds
1) Cannarado (I may be a bit biased as again I've had great luck and results, not all the time but overall. Along with fact big homie shared from the get go many years ago)
2) Ethos - In House (Check the results, pics etc. These guys are putting out some heat, slight edge to In House for me personally but I've only run 3pks from ETHOS thus far)
3) Relentless (Recently provided me with some of best phenos I've had in awhile. Check out the Cherry Cookie reversals and The White to an extent tho they are typically dominated by the female)
4) CSI Humboldt(Highly underrated IMO)
5) Mamiko - HSO - Oni or now just HarryPalms doing his own thing

Others I just have to list cause too many good plants have come from them.
Pacific NW Roots (I haven't run newer PHOG, Platinum lines but again earlier stuff was great)
Sin City (This one may just be me but the earlier Blue Power, Tangerine Power, Sin Mints impressed the hell out of me)
Snowhigh (If its landrace genes your looking for I prefer this old homie that has some of the best parental stock that I know of. Best I had was Black Maui and a phenol from Panty Dropper)
Capulator (Dude has some fire at his finger tips)
Madd Farmer (If its older original purples your after snag a pack or two; DJ Short not a bad option either just different lines from his original work)
Mephisto (I was never an auto person, still not but few pks I tried from Daz were leaps and bounds ahead of last pks I'd ran years ago)

Lesser known but worth mentioning IMO:
Midwest Best
Uprising (one of the best guys I've met online who has an expansive genetic stash and many elite cuts)
GreySkull (Fuck all I can say is I got to try his Fire Pie few years back and its one of my top 5 fave ever. I've only ran 1 cross of CP x Fire Pie and lost my keeper sadly. I want that FirePie badly!
Rebel Grown (This guy breeds right over the hill from me so his genetics are perfectly acclimated for myself and I've never once had a hermie, Diesels, Cookies...never. Says something IMO
Honest Genetics (One of my faves came from him, Scarlett Johansson pheno and I tried my hardest to get some Blue Hurricane beans just cause of how visually impressive they looked)
PPL Under Stairs (4DD crosses look great, I really liked phenos from GMO x 4DD)
Smellboat Seeds ( Good friend from online, Rainbow SSOG and crosses are unique in many ways and super flame. MendoB x Rainbow and Sherb x Rainbow just killed)

Ok I listed about 20 more than I anticipated and I'm sure I forgot a couple I should've mentioned, Swamp Boys, Thunderfudge, Hammerhead...yeah I've put many hundreds of hours into pheno hunting and countless more just growing as much as I could handle. Again these aren't in any ranked order more just what came to my head first which is kind of "what ya done for me lately" type thinking. Almost any decent strain when grown great or close to perfect will impress in some aspects. If its decent from seed run it twice more to get 100% opinion, assuming you have the time and space. I had to have missed out on some great pot due to not running them 3rd or even from clone just cause I wanted to pop more new shit. Not my thread but I'd like to hear what others opinions are these days. Seen many of these over the years but not sure I've posted in a thread for few years. Enjoy the upcoming season people.

Peace, Red

There are tons of breeder on this website. How do you decide?

If you are not a collector, you could buy a cannabis product and then ask whoever you bought them from for a recommendation.

"Is there a seed that you'd recommend for a connoisseur?"

Thank you all for advice!
Does anyone have experience growing any Exotic Genetix or Ethos strains? Which strains did you have the best luck with?
I have grown a bunch of Ethos strains and have found great luck with their Mandarin Sunset (great producer), Snowball (>24% TCHA average and gorgeous bud), and OG Lime Killer (havn't harvested enough to truly say, but it seems like a nice sturdy producer).

I'm considering getting Crockett Family Farm's Tangie as well. I'm a big fan of Tangie and I was wondering if anyone has grown any of their stuff or specifically their Tangie.

Thanks again. I appreciate how thorough y'all are.

Don't stress out about having dozens of vouched for suppliers. It's a good thing.

#1 - Go with a known and praised distributor that stands behind the breeders carried. Define what you're looking for in your buds, and decide if you want regs or the fem experience, then choose strains that fit your preferences and your budget. Place the order. Crack, plant, grow, harvest, smoke, enjoy. Life is good.

Yes, competition is beneficial for prices, doesn't mean that the newest Cannabis Cup winner is always the best.

I think us hobby chuckers are gaining ground on big breeders.

You want to see pictures of strains grown, we got you.

Want to see various other growers experiences with their seeds, we got you.

So many good honest folks on the forums just trying to grow and supply dank smoke so they chuck with the strains that do it for them.

Most of the big name breeders just over saturate the market with crosses that no one has even grown out, or if they did they didn't post pics. Plus all the major breeders are literally all just working with the same genetics for the most part.

Thats what I like about forum chuckers, they're putting together unique combos.

But like Amos stated, good seed banks should point you in a good direction if you reach out to them. Or just search the the chuckers paradise thread and hit one of the forum chuckers up. We love to share and cost is at a minimal.

I ran couple pks Mandarin Cookies which overall won the little "orange cookie" hunt I did at the time. Later did Harambe, Crescend0 and Quattro Kush. I've run more Exotic though bulk of mine were earlier Starfighter crosses, C&C hybrids were the best overall imo...occasional intersex issues I'd say half were my own doing. So depends what your after lol Higher potential I'd say Exotic, safer bet might say Ethos and I've only run those 4

Crockett... I liked S. Banana Sherb and Sour Tangie. If your determined to get Tangie terps go for the S. Tang imo Friend did one of CP fems, think it was CP x OG18 he got a stank Pie dom girl I was impressed with.

I'm not biggest Tangie fan, there is some exceptions Mycotek cut is easily best cut of it I've seen.
