For my first grow I ran BioBizz Bloom and some pk 13/14 * for flowering and seen good results but moving into the real flower period you could see it neeeded more boost

Maybe its the advertising but anyone I see running Big Bud and Overdrive are getting fat dense nugs at harvest

Is Advanced Nutrients really the best you can buy?

also looking at Canna Boost accelerator but that shits expensive..

Opinions?

Just out of curiosity, what does a plant look like that 'needs more boost'?

Grower skill, environment and lighting all play a bigger role than the brand of plant food you're using, ESPECIALLY when growing in dirt/promix.

AN is also far from being the best but 'the best' is subjective. In regards to their boosters, every company is using the same salts in different combinations. If we were all super smart and had a knack for chemistry, we'd be saving ourselves lots of money by mixing up our own boosters with potassium phosphate and potassium sulfate. I know AN claims to throw a bunch of other shiz in their bottles like carbs and aminos but a healthy plant already produces those things on their own.

I think if you took the time to understand the role of the essential elements, you'd not only be a better grower in the long run but you also wouldn't spend a small fortune on plant food ever again.
