Soak in peroxide for a day. Do not dilute peroxide. Then rinse with hot water. Then let dry for a day. They do get water logged so you have to let them dry completely. They will be like new. I've been using the same stones in my compost and seed sprout teas for years. Never replaced them. You can speed up the drying process by wrapping stones in a paper towel then microwave them for 2 min. Letting them dry naturally has better results.

Always keep extra stones on hand to use why the other ones are soaking / drying.

I use the cylinder ones. I've only used the flat ones in bubble cloners.

Air stones are cheap enough, short on cash blow them out with air, like tire air from your local gas station or some what..I used water irrigation sprinklers from a water system with dismal results, get the air stones the biggest you can afford, as they do block up, just the bigger ones take longer ...lol

when you brew your teas do you put your organic material in a paint strainer, panty hose, or anything like that ?

Last tea I brewed was alfalfa meal and kelp...The alfalfa meal was so small that some of it was going through the paint strainer so I said screw it, and just tossed the kelp and alfalfa straight into the water.

No. I stopped using strainer / tea bags a few years ago. I like it more with out the tea bag.

I pull an aloe leaf from an aloe plant. The larger the leaf the better. Cut the half an inch off the bottom. Sit upright in a cup or tupperware and let the sap drain for an hour or 2. Snip the tip of the leaf off. Squeeze the leaf a little to loosen the gel abnd break the cellulose. Then dip the clone cutting directly into the tip of the aloe leaf. Then put cutting in soil, rapid rooter, or cloner.

Then you can use the rest of the gel in a foliar (puree first) or tea. Aloe is sort of a turbo button for growth in a foliar during veg.

Honestly look at modular hydro. and copy their design by buying the raw supplies on amazon. Costs about 30 bucks and I have enough airstones for the rest of my life.

Good luck
