Best 300w led...advise

I was looking for higher wattage lights to replace my original A51's and get that wattage in a smaller footprint. I ended up getting 2 of the CLW SolarSystem 550's and a controller for them. Only 1 run but was quite impressed for something I just clicked a button & had arrive on doors-step ready to rock. The DIY avenue is usually "better" but if you don't want to screw with that and just want somthing to run, I'd easily reccommend at least looking at the SolarSystem line.

Those solarsystem lights are pretty meh. Something like 1.7 umol/j efficiency. Though the UVB is nice. The HLG lights are 2.2-2.5 umol/j for comparison. Raw photons>Spectrum/UV/IR to a point

2 x 4 tent the best 300 watt is the 3 vero 3VL setup from timber. PERIOD. OR make it yourself.

You know why...?

The framework is way better than i would make and I can make stuff but I had no time.

The veros work amazingly well.

The potentionmeter means you can make them 30 watts for seedlings, turn it up for veg and crank it for flower. VERO is currently the best value for cobs too.

I can honestly say you would never say shit i wish i never bought that timber but you will say shit i wish i never bought a mars. It is worth the extra 100 bucks. You can never buy weed again. so win win win.

Those that have made the jump have mars lights in a closet or on a shelf somewhere. OR any of those other cheap ass chinese lights.

Eh I disagree. COBs dont spread light out well enough for my liking, especially in a single row like those timber lights. IMO the best ~300w ready to buy setup for a 2x4 is this new HLG kit. You can also place the QBs closer than COBs since the light is more spread out from the source.

The 260w XL kit is great too and costs less, but that new 320w xl kit uses new quantum boards with 50/50 80/90CRI and pumps more light than you'd ever need in a 2x4 tent.

I should have said quantums excluded . I have none so i can not compre. I have a 20 inch wide tent but i think with the right difuser things you would rock a 2 x 4.
