I make chicken soup:
4-5 gloves of garlic
1 or more tbsp or more of cayenne pepper
3 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
one bunch finely chopped parsley
lemon zest from one lemon
12 + oz chicken broth
6 oz beer or white wine or sake
1 breast or 2 thighs
Bring to light boil for 20 min, pull out meat chop it put back; simmer for awhile. Throw in some coarse crushed egg noodles and a few twists of black pepper.
Light squirt of the lemon ya skinned, eat as hot as you can stand.
You'll sweat like a pig, but its great and it works. Do this for all meals (2/day) for 2-3 days. Scorched earth for invasive organisms.
I am serious, been doing this for years. I make occasionally when I'm not sick. Once in awhile its fun when the meal bites back
