Beginner setup-stealth

So I finally decided to invest and start the journey of growing my own. I have been soaking up many hours of YouTube and surfing google. I just want to grow enough for personal use I don’t have a lot of space and I need to stay as low key as possible and defiantly 0 on the rector scale when it comes to smell. I haven’t seen to many videos on 2x2x4 tent setups and the ones I did see were by complete beginners so I just thought I would drop a line on my setup to see what everyone’s thoughts would be for success.
tent ac infinity 2x2x4
Light vs1000
In-line fan infinity cloud line T4 4 inch
Carbon filter terra bloom 4 inch
In-line fan for fresh air TB-MFIF 4 inch
And to small clip on fans to move the air around on the plants
With everything that I listed for my setup is this enough to grow 2 plants on LST while keeping the smell to 0 and being able to prosper from fruits of my labor thanks in advance

You really only need one inline fan and can suck air through your carbon filter and exhaust it "somewhere". The negative pressure will bring in fresh air. I am not an expert with killing smells but I do have a six inch carbon filter hooked to an inline fan that previously was used in my flower room. It works but zero is hard to get too. How close will the wrong people be to your grow? Some strains are more smelly so I would try and stick to less smelly ones. I know, what fun is that, we all like smelly weed don't we?

I’m going to set up in a closet I wanted to setup in the basement but there is a lot of basement windows down there and the preferred spot has huge window in front of it you never know who’s watching but if I could control the smell enough to keep it in the bedroom I’ll be smooth sailing the strains are Alaskan purple northern lights and white widow all autos from seedmans

Good carbon filter and fan will take care of smell. I would advise going 4x4 min. You want personal, but do you want to constantly grow and still may run out. Go ahead and go as big as you can at 1st. 4or6 plants in a 4x4 is going to keep your stash the way it needs to be

I wish I had the space for a 4x4 the reason for the size is I don’t really have the room plus starting smaller gives me a better angle at dealing with less plants and perfecting my craft one I do that I’ll be all in and hopefully in my own house by then instead of renting

Anything is possible mate. Im growing 3 in a 700mm high stealth set up.

But... 1 plant is all youll fit in that tents floor area. You can veg 2 for a few weeks but no way you'd bother flowering 2 in a 2x2 tent. 1 nice plant will fill a 4x4 pretty comfortable!

You have a good setup. As someone already stated... You don't need an intake fan. It may actually cause you problems. Your inline fan and filter will suck air out of the tent causing negative pressure. This will pull air into the tent by itself. If you are blowing more air into the tent than you are pulling out, you may get some smell... That air has to go somewhere. If it's not going through the filter, it's going to smell... Aside from that I think you should have a nice clean setup. You can probably fit 2 earthbox juniors in that tent... Grow 2 autos at a time. If they are smaller autos. I would have went with a different light but that one should do just fine "personal preference". If you decide to go bigger a 2x4 or 3x3 tent is perfect for personal use. A 2x4... You could just buy another light like you have an do pretty well with that... You could probably do just fine with your current filters and fans also. Good luck.

Thanks just curious what would be your choice or go to for light in the 2x2x4 when my living situation changes I’m going to go all in on 4x4

Why would you link to another grow site? A bit trollish for no reason. Dude came here with all the info new growers usually get heckled for not having and was pretty clear on his questions. What am I missing, are new growers not allowed on RIU?
Just some easy fast reading
It seems many people feel asking every previously answered question without research is a right
I still read books
I don’t believe I owe you an explanation nor do I have to answer every fresh new members mundane easily searched answer
But that is just me

I don’t mean to create any waves in the forum but to answer your question I’ve been watching videos and reading many forums and sites and gathering information from anywhere I can but just because the information is out there doesn’t mean it’s validated information thank you everyone for letting me know I’m on the right track I really appreciate it

I would have probably bought a Viparspectra P1500 or XS1500. It would probably be a little more than needed but you could dim it down. But there are so many good lights out there. I try to cover the entire space with a light even if it's too powerful... And then just dim it down. For a 2x2, 2x4, or a 3x3 1 big light is great. You can easily access the whole tent from the door. I have a 4x4 with a large bar style light... It's great but I only have access from the door and 1 side. The back left corner is a pain it the butt to adjust because I have to reach over the light to get to the ratchet strap.
If I had to do it over again I would have ordered 2 lights like the Viparspectra p4000 or xs4000. They would not be as efficient or have as even a light spread but I could dim them down, and have easier access to adjust them. If you have access to all 3 sides of your 4x4 tent 1 large light would not be as big of a problem.

If I was just going to run a 2x2... These are the 2 lights I would narrow it down to... Either of these 2 lights would be freaking amazing!
I would probably choose the PhotonTek because... just look at it. It's beautiful. I would run some autos but I'd probably end up with a Earthbox root and veg planter and I'd be growing 1 photo period plant at a time. I'd use a scrog net to maximize my yield. For just me the 4x4 with growers choice roi e680 is too much. If I could find a buyer... I'd sell them the whole setup for $500-$600... And I'd just buy a 2x4 setup.

Newnugget, one problem with closet grows , especially stealth, is where will you extract the air to?

The idea is to remove it from the tent and closet so the heat, smell and humidity is removed and new fresh air is pulled in to replace it.
Now with a small set up you may get away with venting into the main room. Depending on your environment.

If you just recycle the air round and round the closet the temp will slowly get warmer and very importantly the RH will go sky high and there will be water dripping off everything!
It also stops your carbon filter working and thus will stink.

Ideally you want the air exiting the house but with only a 2x2 you can probably vent into the room and get away with it. But how you do that with a stealth set up is a big question
