Hello people of roll it up forums, This is my first post and my first grow ever. Everything has been going great up until recently. Growth has slowed down leafs look more droopy and especially on the bottom portion of the plant leafs have started to develop yellowish/orange crunchy spots near the ends of the leafs. I would greatly appreciate it if someone was to help me diagnose my problem considering it's in the flowering stage and I don't want to loose the buds I worked so hard for.

Hmmm usually I let the soil dry out alittle before watering. And if it is too much N I need to flush it right?
NO. you missed the easiest part of the work dude.
you need to read a grow bible, equip your space properly, water when dry, use a quality nutrient system to avoid guess work.
you need allow your dirt to dry, to a light container, then add all the water, allow to drain, and repeat when dry again.
once those are complete you will have no more issues to question.

you've over fed your plant for awhile, you over water it,- too often. less food, less water, less fuss is whats needed, after your space is controlled.

If you are in soil, don't flush just back off the nutes.
It looks really good for a 1st grow.
A picture of the whole plant would be nice.
It does look like it has been over fed nutrients.
What is the brand of soil you are in?
How often do you water and how much water per plant?
What nutes do you feed, how much and how often?

Well I had a very small budget so I had to go cheap. I used Miracle Grow potting soil. And those nutrients sticks ( I realize now that this is probably one of the worst nutrients options I could have picked). I usually water when I feel that 1 inch of the topsoil is dry and I water until there's runoff from the bottom of the pot.

we all been there man, no worries. I'm impressed you got this far with MG products indoors. Mine always burned but outdoors I had better fortune. your soil is hot, those sticks are hot. Stop the sticks for a bit, stick with water only. the top soil grows no roots, supports little microbes, its the bottom of the pot where the roots are, that needs to be on the drier side before watering again.
pro mix is cheaper than miracle grow, and Jobes is a fine compliment to pro mix .

Will do thank you for the advice and I'll keep that in mind the next grow I do.

No problem starting cheap. Getting good results is cool. Which miracle grow are you using? Some growers have done well with MG. I have used it myself a long time ago. The one that causes problems is the one with 3 or 6 month time release fertilizer, not so much the regular MG brand.

Thanks for the response. I was actually talking about the soil.
I haven't used Miracle grow soil in a long time but some growers here have used it recently and done well with it. I believe @TacoMac likes using MG.
I'm pretty sure they succeed with the type that does not feed for 6 months.
Here is a picture of a bag that feeds for 6 months.
The problems with the 6 month feed type may not show up in the veg state but problems will likely develop during flowering. The problems with it happen when you go into flowering. What happens is MJ has different needs when it starts to flower and the time released fertilizer from the soil delivers the wrong types of nutrients at the wrong time.
Hope this helps. Not sure I'm accurate in my description.
You are off to a great start for your 1st grow.
Here is a pic of the type of MG that has time release ferts, this type should not be used because it always seems to have problems in the flowering stage.
Here is also a link to some soil info. Keep us updated.

avoid miracle grow at all costs.

its actually EXPENSIVE!!!!!! VERY expensive!!!

I can buy a 30lb bag of organic soil for the same cost of a 5lb (yes 5lb FIVE!) bag of miracle grow at my hardware store!

Ive also read that miracle grow is formulated to not be effective at growing pot. it CAN grow pot but not effectively because its not WHAT the plant needs and wants.

your grow looks pretty good for a first timer.... but the miracle grow is hurting you. check out some raised bed mixes at your hardware store, im sure youll find something way better than miracle grow!

check out some other nutrients as well. im having great success with green leaf nutrients mega crop, all in one dry nutrient so no mixing or anything, just weight the amount you need and mix it with water for your plants, feed the same solution all through veg and flower just increasing the amount you feed as the plant gets older.

good luck!
