beginner: Flowering ??

If a few white pistols pop out...that means it is preflowering. "not flowering" - still in veg.
It's just letting you know it's about to flower..so be ready. Also if you feed it flowering nutes when it has the white pistols popping out..it helps to push it in to full throttle.
But if you want to hold it back a lil to get bigger...jus keep feeding it veg. nutes and it will hold the pre-flower phase for a lil while.
1 week into official flowering.

Take a pic of your plant and post it so we can see what your workn with here. I have several plants that have decent sized white pistols coming out of every node. It's telling me it's like right thereee..wanting to be flowered.
I'm still feeding it veg. nutes tho. I'm probably going to start feeding it flower nutes. on the 1st or 7t of august. Your plant still gains size in flowering .. "I" just want the little extra size I can get from the next week before my plant commits.
Other people strains take lil longer to get into full flower .. it also depends somewhat on how much daylight your girls gettin.
Preflower: white pistols coming out side of the nodes and in-between branches.
Flower: white pistols coming out center of nodes. and "visual Increase" on a daily basis on production of white pistols on branches and nodes.

My plants have not started flowering yet I think because of sunlight. I'm not sure if you can go by this but Google says my sunset is at 6 am and sunset at 8:20, so that is 14 hours of light and 10 hours darkness. There are some preflowers though because of some overcast we had a few weeks back.

Well it's hard for my plants to get the full 12 hours of sun, because of me trying to be sneaky!!! LOL, but is that going to delay the process... now it does get at least 9-10 a day... I will post pics shortly!!! IDK how to post from my phone.. thats what i use to journal my plants!!! Got therr gowing nice and healthy.. One is almost 4ft tall!! And i topped it a few times...

First off pre flowers are about 2 pistills per node site where nuds will form usually on main stem. Then along with that youll get alternating nodes.
So instead of having 2 node sites right by eachother one will be higher and it will continue up. All these are signs of sexual maturity.

Ok, where i'm at, we've been having extremely humid weather, and it has been screwing wit my plants!!! So i dont know if thats slowing down yet!!! I just topped the big one again to let it catch up, thought i was in the flowering stage tho!!! I thought i screwed up, but i must be ok since it hasnt flowered yet!

Humidity doesnt matter in veg.

Go pick up some flower nutes. I use foxfarm big bloom. Works good for me.

Yah..if there's one nutrient you should get...it should be tiger bloom or big bloom. Tiger bloom promotes fast bud production at first. But I think big bloom you do you better overall..throughout ur flowering phase.
Definitely want to get atleast one nutrient for you girls...they look really good. why not make them a lil better :]

No the part about once ur plant has clusters of pistols is in bloom preflower is only a term used to describe the presence of the pistols on each node that indicate the plant maturiateity along with uneven node spacing. There is no preflower stage of flowering the pistol cluster and tight leqves are bud site/buds.

I didn't mean pre-flower as a legit stage. It's still considered veg. in my eyes. but showing you it's ready to flower soon. But i did mean that once you see those preflowers coming out of "all" of your nodes and branches on your plants..that you can help jumpstart it into full flowering with bloom nutrients. or you can feed it veg. nutes and slow down the transitional phase of veg - preflower to flower

Thanks guys, gotta alot of important info... i needed that!! This is actually the first time i have gotten this far, and it's loking good right now... just wanted to see if i could do it!!! Hey this may be my callin!!! LMAO... But really there's nothing like see the progession of sumthi that was just three lil seeds!!!
