Before you started to grow you need to do ALOT more reading, When you come to a forum like this asking a simple question like that can get you flamed. If you don't know about a simple thing like telling the difference between a male and female plant then what are you going to do for the rest of the duration of your plants cycle. Come here and post a new thread for every step? How are you going to tell when the plant is ready to harvest? do you know that you generally don't rip a whole plant at once because usually only a certain part of the plant matures first and the other part needs longer. What about if you get spider mites? a nitrogen deficiency? a phosphorus deficiency? are you going to cut the nodes (Top It) so that the plant can grow 2, 4 even upto 8 colas. How are you going to dry it?
These are all questions you may or may not have to answer. But one thing is for sure, you not going to be able to grow any decent marijuana if you can't take care of your plant, this includes small thing like using soft water, using the correct soil, feeding it the correct nutrients. Hell even harvesting on a full moon can produce a better bud. All I'm saying is do your homework, or you will be disappointed in the end result. And guess what, I've only just started my first outdoor grow 2 weeks ago. So I'm no veteran, I've just read and read and read because i would like to be able to take care of my plants and grow some very potent weed. Also it comes down alot to your seeds, The base of good weed is a good seed.
