It's my first grow. I will upload photo later tonight.
Bubba Kush. Inside grow. Four weeks into flowering. Eight Plants. All from the same Mother. Many, many bud sites. Now under each bud site I see two balls. Been picking them off. Literally hundreds of them. About 50 each plant because about 25 tiny bud sites each plant (6-8 major bud sites because I topped them).
The balls are located directly beneath each bud site. Right at the intersection of the "V."
I know it's a hermaphrodite. Could be the Mother is one. She is still vegging and about 4 feet tall and shows no signs of sex. Been vegging for about 3 months from seed (GreenHouse Bubba Kush seed).
I suspect because I excessively pruned them, taking off tons of fan leaves. I also let them get real droopy once during flowering, but they recovered (I was gone 3 days).
Also, I use a BCNL Producer, so perhaps minor light leaks, too.
I've got another 8 clones going in a separate Producer, so I will flower those in about 6 weeks.
My question is this.....
A couple of the balls I didn't get to pick off. When I saw them, they had opened and a few hairs were sticking out of them.
Is it possible the balls are hairs adding to the bud and I mistakenly thought they were balls? Do the hairs ever come from underneath the bud site and add to the hairs inside the leaf intersection?
Or is every ball underneath a bud site at the intersection of the "V" a hermie?
