First time i've ever seen the root grow upwards out of the ground on anything I have ever planted. I was able to gently dig it up, and flip it around so hopefully it is fine now. Anyone else ever seen this before? IMG_20220514_095527575.jpg

Because you didn't fill the cup with soil the air layer above the soil to the rim of the cup is humid enough because of the evaporation of the wet soil that the root thinks it's a better spot than the over wet dirt.
Or it's just a dumb dumb.... Darwin's law yea? :dunce:

This little guy...well shes turning out to be more special than I thought. Right before the tip it flips over almost 180 degrees, so the leaves are almost facing downward. Only time will tell what other things this little girl has up her sleeves....
