LST= Low Stress Training. this means training the plant to grow how you want it to grow by tieing the branches to something to hold them down. this will train the stems to grow horizontal and when it gets longer it will start growing upwards again and you can tie it down again. this will also allow more light to get to lower parts of the plant because you will knock some of the hieght down a little and you could lower the light. also it will expose more of the plants stem to the light instead of the top getting most of the light
