Area-51 Leds Are Starting To Make Waves In The Led World.They Are A High End light That Wont Break The Bank.Now Jenny I See Were On Different Sides When It Comes To Defoilating.This Is How I Was Able To Hit the 1.0 GPW Back In The Day Using Mh's.Now With That Said Lets Look At How Our Beloved Plant Grows Outdoors Under The Sun.First Of All the Sun Moves Hitting All Of the Plant And Mothernature Doesnt Water On A Schedule And They Are Not Showered With Nutes Rather The Plant Has To Store Up Food In Excess So When A Dry Spell Hits Hopfully She Has Enough Stored Food To Survive.Now We Grow Indoors Most Of Us Dont Use Light Movers And Our Light Stays In 1 Position Above The Plant And We Feed Our Ladies On A Feeding Schedule So Their's No Need For Her To Store Any Food.IMHO Those Big Azz Fans Leaves Are More Of A Light Blocker Than A Warehouse For Food Storage.

Fantastic thread, thanks for the valuable led experience/info you and the other LED users here have made available to us common folk! Question, I'm considering two AF-90's for a 2x4 tent on Neville's Haze, do you think that would be adequate? I know footprint wise it makes sense but I've never grown such a high sativa percentage strain and wasn't sure if penetration wise it would be adequate. Other option would of course be two 135's. Anyway, thanks again for the valuable info, and a shout out to The Dawg, WeJuana and Senseimilla as well.

BTW AF-51 responds to emails faster than anyone I've ever emailed EVER haha

I Agree Area-51 Customer Service Is Awsome.I Would Go With 2 AF-90's In A Regular 2X4 Tent.However If You Have An OverSize SunHut 2x4(35x54)I Would Go With 2 AF-135's.

Ok good, yea I thought it'd be enough. My tent is a gorilla grow 2x4. BTW might wanna check that brand out beef, the frame is super strong and supposedly can take 300 lbs so I'd definitely trust 150 at least which is pretty decent compared to the secret jardin darkroom I had.

Here's some cut, and partially dried bud... did a 2 day hanging dry, and now they're in jars with the lids off. The jars are lying down with the tops facing towards the wall, about 3/4" inch away. I have a small inline fan blowing air towards the jars from about 2 feet away. Only a very small breeze is making it to the jars, I've been checking out different curing methods and I want to try this one!

Ok! Back from vacation!! Spent 9 days in San Diego, beautiful city!!

I had a close friend of mine tending my ladies and attending to the curing buds, and I just did a test of the White Widow and it's fucking incredible! P-p-p-p-potent! Instant headache, and a ton of heat in the face. It's hard not to cough, I really dig this bud!

It's still night cycle for the ladies, so I'll update later.

good stuff beef! im learning the wonders of my af now! hopefully i'll get a journal going, so you reckon your new curing method worked a treat? i like the sound of it, needs less time and space for hanging which is always a good thing! looking forward to that update!

good to hear about White Widow, have you been smoking much on your trip to San Diego? If I dont smoke for a week just about any pot will knock me on my ass!!

Ok, so the plants are basically fucked. lol

Lights came on, and they were actually dry... I mean the buds were hard and dry.... leaves were withered and burned, they took some serious abuse while I was gone. My pH meter is hard to read, it's kind of fucked, so he has that in his defense. The stems aren't dry, bud the buds are... it's strange I don't know if he fucked them up really bad with a low pH or if it was from letting them go too long without water... I could almost put them into jars already and I cut them 8 hours ago.... kind of disapointed, but if worse comes to worse I'll just use it all to make oil. I have some curing bud prob about 3-4oz of White Widow and Neville's haze to keep me going for a while.

I'm going to get a new pH meter, and a new setup too, so stay tuned for the 2 plant mega LED scrog coming up soon!

1000W of LED in 4x4 area for 2 plants? Why not!

I was so worried when I left for three weeks. However when I got back everything was twice as big! My substitute gardener was better than me!

I remember when I got my Blue Labs pH pen and found out that I had been using hydro that was at a pH of 8! No wonder my plant was so sad.

And Enduro, they actually got fucked over the last 2 days alone...

He came back a day later, after he watered and they were fucked up pretty bad, so I told him to flush and when I got home they were pretty much dead. The leaves were damp and shriveled, like the plant had been cut and hung up for a day already.... they were leaned over, buds dried up and hard on the outside... the stocks were still wet, but the bud quality is seriously lacking now... We'll see how it turns out.

I'm not mad or anything, shit happens and my pH does indeed suck. So, I will start fresh, and get a new god damn meter... lol

Got a brand new Hanna pH meter, dropped $150 on it, so the fucker better work well! It's waterproof does temperature and a few other readings too!
