Hi all,
I just transported some plants from a flat based starter growing bin to pots. Using a bit different soil, so i think some altered pH and not sure what else. Temp and air circulation seem to be around the same. Soil combined with water retention growing blend -- raised lights about a foot and a half higher.

-Had some problems with light and plants were in dark for 3 days right before being transported. Plants looked fine before being transported.
-Now using 450W grow-light. About 2ft 3 in away from light. Also using a lower wattage grow-light.
-Some of the plants leafs are droopy, stems are weak (yet some plants are staying strong).
-No discoloration on leaves.

It could be a mass of things! Anyone have any knowledge that might help me narrow it down?

PLEASE CHECK OUT PIC'S BELOW AND DON'T HESITATE TO ASK ABOUT HOW I DID EVERYTHING IF IT MIGHT HELP YOU HELP ME.

Thanks,
J

wow, this dosnt look good at all.. i am thinking that during the transplanting, you may have damaged the root system if you did not take extra care to make sure the roots don't get harmed. Or it may also be that the plants were in the dark for 3 days, then were transplanted which caused a great amount of stress on the plants.. if you wait a few days, this should clear up. Make sure you moistened the soil quite a bit after transplanting, and make sure you didn't overwater them. If the root system was damaged, some of the old leaves may drop off to compensate for having less roots. Good luck with this and happy growing

lower the lights a bit....keep your humidity high, and watch how much you water....they can snap out of it...if your soil is packed too tightly they will droop also..

yes, 18/6 is good, and clipping the older leaves will help transfer more power to the top leaves. hopefully in a few days they should be returning to normal. Good luck bud!

That is a major case of tranplant/tranport shock. Give them a little super thrive next time and becareful of the roots. Give them some time and they may snap back. Good luck
