You can get good results without them. But not the same results as with them. And yes they cost a bunch, but in soil 1/4 t per gal goes along, long way. I think they are worth it for soil but am sure they would be very expensive for hydro. And not needed in hydro.Lol Im sure he didnt want to here that. the solubles cost more then the 3 liquid nutes they sell. And to get the same results without using all those additives. Seems fox farms may have jumped on the money making scheme.
